Air-conditioning, heating, ultraviolet rays (sunlight), salt spray, dust, airborne contaminants, smoke, body oils, cosmetics and general day-to-day use are factors that determine how often your upholstery and interior needs to be cleaned.
Leather requires regular cleaning to maintain its suppleness and looks its best.
Our technicians have the experience and professional solutions to gently deep clean, then properly moisturise and protect leather upholstery.
We use a professional only cleaning solution which gently extracts imbedded and surface soiling from the leather item.
The application of the moisturiser has two benefits. Firstly is conditions and lubricates which improves its softness. Secondly, it provides a protective stain barrier that normally lasts a couple of years if the item is maintained properly.
The leather protection must only be applied to new or just cleaned leather.
Wizard Upholstery Cleaning use professional water based low sheen cleaning solution developed specifically for leather furniture. This treatment also increases wet spill resistance which makes cleaning-up much easier.
All work is normally done on-site at your home, office, marina or worksite with minimum disruption and at a time that best suits you.

Pre-Inspection | A pre-inspection and small test area is performed and discussed with the customer |
Vacuum | A commercial vacuum cleaner is used to extract dust, dirt, hair, crumbs, etc |
Pre-spray | A biodegradable solution is applied to breakdown soiling and spots |
Agitation | An upholstery brush is used to break-up stubborn soiling and spots |
Steam Clean | The upholstery surface is steam cleaned (hot water extraction) |
Rinse | A solution is added to remove remaining residue to minimise re-soiling |
Spot Treatment | Any remaining spots are treated with the appropriate solution |
Deodorising | A deodoriser is applied to neutralise odours and leave a fresh fragrance |
Air movers can be supplied if rapid drying is required. Additional charges will apply.
We then recommend an application of Upholstery Protection (optional). Application of an upholstery protection provides a protective barrier to the upholstered item, improving its wear resitance, stain resistance and spillage clean-up.
Most new good quality upholstery is treated with a protector by the manufacturer. This protection does wear off over time and if left untreated will greatly reduce the service life, look of the item and value of the item. Having the protector reapplied helps preserve the color, beauty and life of fabric upholstery. It gives you extra time to clean up spills before they turn into stains.
Remember we have the experience and training to remove most stains. Don’t use household cleaning agents unless you are absolutely sure of the results.
